GYDA and Chad’s ADPV Sign MOU to Launch Digital Innovation and AI Lab Project, Empowering African Youth for a Digital Future

The Global Youth Development Alliance (GYDA), headquartered in Paris, France, officially announces the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Association pour la Défense des Personnes Vulnérables (ADPV) of Chad to jointly launch the "Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Lab Project". This initiative aims to empower youth and communities in remote areas of Chad to embrace digital technology, enhance AI application capabilities, and establish a benchmark model for digital innovation across Africa.
As GYDA’s core partner and on-the-ground implementing organization in N’Djamena, Chad, ADPV fully collaborated with GYDA in the first quarter of 2026 to complete pre-project research, community needs assessments, and implementation planning. Following comprehensive reviews and unanimous resolutions by GYDA’s project evaluation expert team and Secretariat, the two parties formally established a strategic deep cooperation partnership to advance the construction of the Digital Innovation and AI Lab with high standards.
Digital Innovation and Artificial Intelligence Lab Project: Empowering Youth, Driving Local Innovation
This project focuses on young people, women, and marginalized groups in Chad, centering on digital skills enhancement and AI application practices to create a local innovation platform integrating training, R&D, and incubation. GYDA will leverage its global network, international expert resources, and curriculum systems, while ADPV contributes its local implementation capabilities, providing:
- Development of AI and digital innovation curricula

- Support for innovative training equipment and lab construction
- Incubation of youth innovation projects and international exposure opportunities

The Association for the Protection of Vulnerable Populations (ADPV), headquartered in N’Djamena, is dedicated to protecting and empowering vulnerable groups in Chad (women, youth, people with disabilities, etc.).
